     I’m a font fanatic who loves her dog, Coca-Cola, and true crime documentaries. As a creative at heart, you’ll find I have an inspired passion for brand identity, content creation, and communication strategy.

IN COLLEGE!

I didn't cheer in high school though; I played tennis + did theatre!

     I graduated summa cum laude from Freed-Hardeman University in the spring of 2021 with a BA in Communication: Public Relations; I also achieved a minor in Political Studies. I currently manage communications at the DC Highway Safety Office.  This role pushes me to engage internal and external stakeholders alike in order to convey life-saving messaging to the residents of the District of Columbia.

  I love any and every chance to meet new faces and pursue the art of networking.  We will only scratch the surface of what the human race has to offer if we do not foster connections with those around us, so drop me a line, and let's talk! As the communications lead for the DC Highway Safety Office, I developed and implemented a new umbrella brand. Additional work samples (promotional items, event materials, etc.) are available.

CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT | Distracted Driving Awareness Month

Conceptualization; Strategic Direction

This campaign was developed by an advertising agency under my strategic direction. The campaign used local residents as models and geotargeted paid media placements to maximize impact.

PR CASE STUDY | Greyhound Bus Lines

Crisis Communication; Undergraduate Research

In this case study, I examine the 2007-08 crisis faced by Greyhound Bus Lines after a tragedy took place on one of their Canadian routes. I review Greyhound’s history and reaction post-crisis.

PRESS RELEASE | #2 Pencil

Writing; AP Style; Undergraduate Project

This sample press release highlights the #2 pencil as a new product release. It was written under an hour time constraint and utilizes common PR tactics and AP style.

POLICY DEVELOPMENT | Alcohol Policy Task Force (Co-Chair)

Organizational Policy; Nonprofit Management

As co-chair of SADD's Alcohol Policy Task Force, I consulted with industry leaders, field scholars, and youth to craft these position statements for recommendation to the SADD Board of Directors.
